Manufactures Warranty

(full details are in the certificate supplied with your new Sewing Machine)

If your Machine develops a fault caused by, (in sole judgement or that of its authorised Agent Seweasy Services) a defect in manufacturing /workmanship then the defective part will be replaced, the warranty will run from 3yrs from purchase 1yr for all electrical parts, repairs under the Warranty will be carried out free for 1 year

(Extended to 3 years under Seweasy)

You must pay all post /packaging both to and from Seweasy

 

With correct use your New Machine should give many years of trouble free sewing

IMPORTANT    Please check your threading applies to all machines

When threading up machine please ensure that the PRESSER FOOT is in the HIGHEST POSITION, lift the presser foot lever up, this will release the upper tension discs, enabling the thread to locate correctly around & to the centre of the tension discs. Thread up with your left hand holding the cotton reel with your right hand., pulling the thread into the upper tension discs.

Otherwise the thread will * mass in loops under the material and jam the machine.

 

·       *  This can cause the bobbin case to dislodge with damage caused by the

                 needle hitting the bobbin case, can also dislodge the hook timing   (on top

                  load  drop in bobbin type)

 

·       *   This can cause a cotton lock in the race and can dislodge the hook timing

                 and or feed timing, a cotton jam in the bobbin area can be cleared by

                 removing the shuttle race ring and shuttle hook   (on front load bobbin case

                  models with common oscillatory hook)

 

·       *   This can cause a cotton lock in the race jamming the machine and can 

                 dislodge the hook timing and or feed timing, with possible damage  to the

                 hook cushion finger a cotton jam in the bobbin area can be difficult to clear

                 without removing the finger    (on front load bobbin case models with

                 rotary hook)
